Can I ask why people are downvoting him?

This isn't the thread where artists show of their work, in competition to get the most votes, this is just a general thread for people to show off their art, whether it be good or bad. So what if his art isn't even comparable to some of the better artists on here? (No offense) If you ask me, I'll just tell you that there's not a single artist that at one point has been drawing perfectly their whole life. For me, when I look at this, I see a lot of potential. I remember he asked me to redraw one of his past creations off his devianart gallery, (Which I started, but was never able to finish… sorry… at the time a lot of crap was happening) and I saw that compared to what he can do now, he has come a long way, and he's going to continue improving. If any of you stalk my image gallery, you'll see even in my short time on KYM my art has vastly improved, with help from a few other users. Not to mention this one old drawing I made back when I was 7, when I did "The Adventures of Shadow Man" comic books. (Here's the link to the image)
Do you see how far I've come, using my latest post with my two OCs as an example? Giving him the impression that his art is bad and he shouldn't post here isn't going to help him. I say encourage him.

Agree with you here. Not sure about anywhere else in the forum, but here when we're showing our artwork, we should be more supportive. In art, there's really no good or bad, but a show of progress and over time, you will improve. Adam Hughes said it perfectly on one of his DVDs about art having no destination. It really was inspiring. Hopefully any downvoting won't discourage anyone here from showing their work here. Keep on posting.

Ok, Been trying to get back into drawing, so made this mermaid .png drawing. Sketch out first, then laid down some final lines before colors.

I'd like to thank everyone who likes my art. KYM is probably the site that has noticed my art the most. Once in a while I get decent favorites from DA and Tumblr I pretty much average at 1note per drawing. It means a lot to me.

Don't know, don't care, I just posted it and don't really care what people think of, because so what if 5 people downvote me? That just means 5 people dislike what I did out of the thousands that do like it.

Made this for the Nations RP for official messages. There is also a 'state of war' variation and 'my leader just offed himself because I ragequit due to depression and stress' version.

I'm trying to refrain from drawing in an anime style, but it's actually really fun.

I'm also currently trying to work on drawing better humans.

My cousin told me to try out Photoshop CS6 instead of using SAI all the time, so I tried it out to see how I could do with it.

I'm sorry but some of your work is so perfect I can't help but feel envy.

Also, I wish I didn't draw so big, because I don't have any room on the sides of the paper for anything if I keep this up.

ScorpDK is an amazing artist, and I was like, "Damn, Scorpy always does the good shit." So I wanted to do some humans too. However I can't be exactly like Scorps, so I saw some of JJ's art and was like "I like that." so I put it in the mixer. I think somewhere along the line, Faust's artstyle from SBFF unconsciously got me and I may have threw it in the mixer. The end product is 70% Scorps, 25% JJ and 5% Faust with -%100 r34 inside an overlay of Marvel comics.

Decided to sit down and draw my Waifu (It's Rise in case you weren't sure) as I watched the Super Best Friends beat Their Leaf Green Nuzlocke Live.
