I'll start it off-
I've had this puppy for a few months now
Its an intous pro by Wacom. Its not top of the line, but it wasn't cheap either. I bought it to speed my process in animating rather than using a light box and scanning every frame. I thought the tablet would eliminate that hassle. However, a new problem occurred. I found actually using the tablet quit awkward. I've gotten more used to it, but it still doesn't feel as natural as pencil and paper. Its hard to get things the way I want them and when I finally do, I've wasted more time then I was supposed to save.
However, I'm just now getting a grasp on the full spectrum of its range. The programs I'm currently using with the tablet are:
Corel Painter X3
Photoshop cs4
SketchBook Pro (came with the tablet)
Flash cs5
I also have a few hundred dollars worth of technical manuals for said programs. After a few months of far more reading than actual practical application and practice with the tablet, I want to get more intimate with the tablet itself now. I know a few of you here have tablets and are quite skilled with them. I'd love any tips or feedback involving personal advances with your tablets.
Also, I've been participating in this thread to help me get back into using the tablet.
