Hi, me and Kitsune (also known as sakamoto) are trying to make a Know Your Meme joke album, we made the ideas of this album in thread but now we need the musicians. We have picked 5 songs to do (this may change as there are many songs to do) these songs are: Bored and Extremely Dangerous by Bad Religon, Jerry Springer by Weird Al Yankovich, Pork and Beans by Weezer, Dare by Gorrilaz, and O Green World by Gorrilaz (note the lyrics of some of the songs are changed to fit the theme of the album). I've calculated what we need for this album to work: 3 singers (4 including me), 1 Guitarist, 1 Bassist, 1 Drummer (optional), 1 rapper (optional), and a Remixer/Producer. We'll take what ever we can get and more if availible. So please join if you can, i'll put out more info later. Thank you and have a nice day.

1. Do we really need a parody of a parody? I know I asked this before but why not use the original?
2. Maybe you shouldn't have two Gorillaz songs, simply because no one else has more than one song.

1. We decided the jerry springer song was easier to work with with all the raunchyness it has, if you could send me a link to the original song i'll see what i can do.
2. The 2 Gorrilaz songs fit so well we decided to do both, if you have a different suggestion please send it to us.

Well, bassist at your service I suppose. I can do guitar as well if you REALLY need one, but I only really do acoustic/rhythm guitar in bands- never really been electric lead. PM me what you specifically need of me and I'll see if I can't find a way to help out.

I watched and to be honest the Weird Al version still seems better in context, more raunchy material to work with, the part where the couple talks is pure gold, and its just overall the better choice.

I could play any of the instruments, but I don't really have any passable way to record them. (The best I have is to record them on Garageband on my iPad). But I may be able to record vocals if I find a good, echo-less room. I've never shared any recordings over the web, so I may need a little guidance in that area.
