I own a Blue Yeti and have a ton of experience so i'm definitely in.
This should be one of our songs just for the title alone:

genre?

Any genre.
We're trying to make an album that has music and remixes/original music made by the KYM community.

A concept album in three suites that tells the story of internet memes from the 90s to the present day. Music should be keyboard driven, with complex drum/bass rhythms, and with guitars and strings as support. No 4/4 time allowed, except for intros and bridges. The suites may be a few short songs stitched together by reprising instrumental themes.

Suite one should tell of the early days, when there were no girls on the internet and all memes were random shit.
Suite two should chronicle the many classic memes from 4chan and their spread across the web, as normal people start to become involved in internet culture.
Suite three should be about the rise of social media, online "activism", and all the cancer around us today.

Patrick made some nice tunes before for KYM, he should be in this.

Considering that the video for this song was the first ever meme overload, I'd think I'd include it.

i'd be seriously dissapointed if we do not have lil b in one of the songs

Nice to see that someone started up where I left off.

I'm not sure if I could be much help (as I can't sing for shit); but you're free to use any of my previous song ideas if you want.

Hey guys n' gals. I would love to participate in this project, but I really am not the typical musician. I call myself an experimentalist. I make shity mashups, Dark Ambient, Speedcore, and Noise stuff. None of it really fits here in a collab, unless you guys want me to make a solo track. Here is my bandcamp. Let me know and I will do what I can.
