Simple idea, we take a regular board of Monopoly, and replace all the spaces and city names with KYM themed stuff.

This is the template we will be using:

In this thread, you can post:
1) Images for spaces and their names (Cities, Industries, Taxes)
2) Images that would replace Go To Jail, In Jail, GO, and Free Parking
3) Messages in Chance and Community Chest cards

If you can't submit images, sharing your ideas or opinions is fine.

change "chance" to "no chance"

Change "in jail"/"go to jail" to "suspended"/"get suspended"

Are we only allowed to post 1 suggestion or can we post more?

Keep the JUST VISITING, but add Brendan Fraser's face.

Also change the "Free Parking" to "Free Karma"

Replace the old guy's head with Don's on the community chest and chance cards.

Replace $200 salary at Go to 200 Karma or meme points

Players pieces should be goat-tan, cheeto, SRJ, and KYM-tan.

Change the Water and Electric utilities into (the overall) Image and Video galleries.

That one's gonna be tough. Just putting up a picture of the galleries won't make sense since they both look the same

Have one of the chance cards read:
'You were found out to be Korean, get suspended'

Hmmm, we'll need to come up with something easier for the utilities then.

Also, Luxury Tax should be changed into "Trigger Tax" or something with at least an approximate level of undesirability and/or humor.

Make the Council and Memeory lane Boardwalk and Park Lane

I kind of the like the sound of "Go directly to Deadpool. Do not pass go. Do no collect all 15 memes" but there's going to be a lot of good Jail ideas.

We already made the railroads forum boards, so making the Council and Memeory Lane regular cities would make them out of place.

Do you have plans for tokens too? You didn't list them in them in the first post.

Water Works and Electric Company should be changed to the IRC and KYMChat, respectively.

I second this instead of my previous motion for having the image/video boards replace the aforementioned spaces.

What about the money? Who or what would be on the meme money?

Since I can't find a symbol that resembles Monopoly's currency which resembles an M (perfect for meme points), we'll just stick to dollars.

Assuming you mean the player pieces, chowzburgers has suggested the players to be goat-tan, cheeto, SRJ, and KYM-tan, so I guess those can pass, but we should think up more players.

For the sake of consistency what font are you using?

Caecilia Roman, the font that KYM uses.

Would you mind making the background white, and typing $100 on the bottom? The other squares i made so far are all white.

Kinda stuck here, what should be replace Chance and Community Chest? Both spaces should be related.

Are properties going to be users?
Are we going to meet up and play this?

fwiw I think karma replacing $ is kinda hilar.
You should change the dollar sign on everything to an up arrow.

Properties shouldn't be users. Don and Brad are exceptions here because they're admins. Instead, properties should probably be popular memes on KYM or something.

Good idea for that up arrow. Shouldn't be too hard to replace dollars with them.

next to anime world put "rage comics" and my suggestions for the green properties will be "A controversy"-$320, "Rules of the internet" – $300 and "Milhouse is not a meme"-$300

for a card : "you made a popular post gain $20 from all players"

Oh, here's an idea for Chance and Community Chest: Council Decision and Community Request.

@KYFPMM, I'll add those shortly, although I'll have to keep the prices consistent to the board.

Are we doing custom board pieces, i.e. replacing the scotty dog, top hat, iron, battleship, old boot, car, thimble, wheelbarrow, and whatever else I missed with other pieces?
If that's the case, then they should be replaced with "legacy memes", i.e. memes that originally came from the internet that even normies know about now.
I'd say:
scotty dog → doge
old boot → forever alone
iron → nyan cat
top hat → slenderman
battleship → dat boi
thimble → dancing baby
wheelbarrow→ dolan

Again, thanks for the input, although I'll have to change the prices. As I said, they need to be consistent with the original board.

How about we change "Just Visiting" to "Lurking"?
And the railroads into forums sections? (General, Fun!, Maintenence, Media)

Pretty sure those are the prices on the original board aren't they?
