Good day, mentlegen. It is time to inject chalk into your eyes. I have to post this quickly, since I have to get to my Octogrefest Shrek watching party with the CMUBrogres soon. Today we drew Fancy Pants (and his lack of pants) and Fleur de Lis (and her complex hair). For some reason the Fancy Pants team took forever, but I was drawing Fleur and did a rather smashing job.

Once again we had some random families stop by to help us (as you can see in the pictures). The kids did a good competent job, so much so that I went over afterwards and did it more thoroughly. We also had several adults come up and ask if we were bronies, since their kids were as well. I always love it when that happens.

Also, our club got its shipment of Twilight 4de plushies. I already have one, but brought it to club anyways. I remember a discussion on here a while back about there being no good official show quality plushies. The club begs to differ. Us plush-owning master race members even went out to dinner with them and were told they were cute by various entities.

If you'll notice, we only had 5 people at that table but 6 drinks. The waitress also brought an extra fortune cookie. I guess she was accommodating for the plushies.

Also, as you may be able to tell by our chalking vector choice this time around, we're running low on good (or rather, unique) vectors until the new season. Soon we may do captain Spitfire and Cadence, but otherwise if you guys have any show characters you'd like to see chalked, PM a vector to me and it very well may happen.

Ah yes, I see the council of Best Pony has resumed their regular meetings. Gentlemen, carry on!

Well, recently I've been playing Deus Ex: Human Revolution and looking up the original game.

Didn't /mlp/ tell you guys? This is The Twilight Sparkle Show now. All characters who are not pretty pink/purple princess pony pegacorns will be relegated to background status and given one or two lines each episode (to ensure their toys keep on selling) while the immortal god empress Twilight Sparkle uses her supermagic to instantly defeat all foes, and Cadance uses her mindrape magic to end all conflict. The remainder of the episodes will be tea parties, fashion shows (without Rarity, because we have to give Candace more screen time), and Twilight's dates with Flash Sentry.

The truth is, no, no there isn't. You saw our proof in the previous few posts, everyone sexualizes their fandom just like us. We have no responsibility to keep anything clean enough for your liking and we shouldn't have to. There's nothing wrong with liking pony (or any fandom's) porn and there's nothing anyone could do to change the nature of fandoms to exclude porn.
This particular topic has seemed to obsess you for the past few months, and that's something unhealthy. Worrying about and trying to change something that can't be changed will only stress you out and frustrate you. JJ: It's a free country. If you don't like what the brony fandom is doing, go hang out somewhere else. And the various people I know that have any professional knowledge of the Human Psyche pretty much assert that we've all got some unhealthy part of our psyche anyways… But that it's near impossible to fix those damaged parts, only medicate anything problematic and untangle problematic behavior.

The vast majority of things are closer to coping mechanisms for underlying emotional damage. Which, is permanent and inexorable.

If one were to get someone to give up their little autotherapy because it's "abnormal", they'd still have an emotional need to do something to cope with the feelings buried deep inside. So all that would happen would be shifting the method from one method to another.

And if you think about it, there's worse ways to deal with things like loneliness than having unusual porn. Yeah well, normality is an illusion. Just take a look at any given person's private thoughts, you'll find plenty of abnormalities. Heh, I figure the "normal person" is a piece of modern mythology, a legendary creature that never existed.

If you ask me, most "normal" people are the ones with the unhealthy psyche. They just go with the flow without questioning anything, fearful of appearing different from the mass. And even when they inevitably rebel against this oppression, they do so only through socially acceptable methods. Of course, they're advertised as "non-conformist" and "anti-establishment", but they're all carefully designed to be profitable for the higher-ups and to act as a distraction for the potential troublemakers, keeping them from doing any real rebelling.

For example, sexuality and the exploration thereof, is one of these methods. We're all taught from a young age that sex is something for the grown-ups, at best, or that it's something evil to stay away from, at worst. But, as we all know, that just makes it all the more tempting, doesn't it? And unlike in ages past, there is an entire industry ready to cater to your desires, even though you barely know what they are. You see where the paradox in this lies, yes? Society frowns upon blatant pornography, yet mass-produces the stuff.

So how'd this kind of mess come about, you ask? Well, ironically enough, this chain of events began in the Victorian era. It was in those repressed days that many discovered the profits to be had in catering to people's bawdier desires. Consequently, the people in power discovered that people who obsess over sex were far less of a threat to social stability than, say, people who obsess over gunpowder.

From then on, sexuality has become gradually more "liberated" until it arguably peaked during the so-called "sexual revolution" of the 60s, 70s and 80s. Not much has changed in the decades since, and several powerful industries and organizations are happy to keep it that way.

So, in the end, whether be ye righteous or be ye wicked, you play right into their hands. The game was rigged from the very beginning.

But yea, I'd definitely say normal. Based on my understanding and experience with humanity in general and how it treats everything you can be a fan for: there are no real rules or boundaries on sexual interest/application. Literally anything that garners attention seems to be fair game. What makes those interests 'gross' is entirely subjective and is controlled by cultural standards rather than natural ones. You just don't hear about them except on the deep internet (and for good reason)

That's not to say that this effect is taking hold across the whole fandom as what is being claimed here. Lets see some actual statistics on that one. Nor is this to say that everything has to be involved with it, regardless of how normal it may be for humans to sexualize stuff

The real question being asked here is "is it worth panicking about?"

I maintain that it is considerably normal for people to fap towards that which they grow romantic and affectionate feelings for, which can include fictional horse characters so long as it comes with a personality that feelings can be attached towards AND/OR simply possesses the bare minimum details required to provoke sexual response (such as the right curves and facial expressions regardless of overall form. Instinct doesn't require specifics). At best this indicates a lack of superficialness, and the worst this can indicate is loneliness, sexual frustration or a lack of anything better to fap towards,

From personal experience, there are plenty of things which I'm affectionate towards and which 'have all the right curves' that I couldn't even imagine being attracted towards. First off, there is no such thing as normal. Everything will bother somebody somehow, no matter how "justified" or "right" it is.

Second… gross? So is using the bathroom everyday, but you don't see me thinking twice about doing it. Who cares what you get off to? If it pleases you, then of course you'll be looking for MLP R34 much more often.

Third, morally wrong. Saying you clopping to sentient equines is wrong is like saying doing the same for anthros, Nekos, or other nonhuman creatures is wrong. Heck, why don't you say that fapping is wrong, period? Because it isn't. It's completely normal for people to relieve stress or get pleasure from it.
