So, I would've never gotten past comments like this for one thing, and even if my contributions (what little they are…) to this thread aren't meaningful, I certainly think I've gained from being here. I managed to find a new internet home, one that treats me a lot better and seems to have mellowed me out to a degree, but that would've never happened if I was blocked out from joining due to being straight or forced to start liking dudes in order to join.

Well that's disappointing. He practically got no response at all. It would appear that his trolling was spotted 10 million miles away by everyone on the IGN boards. That's a shame.

But seriously, everyone probably knows by now from the official censuses that Bronies are overwhelmingly straight. With Bies and Gays really only making up a small fraction of the population, even if this forum in particular has a lot of notable un-straight people in it

Plus the troll may have been playing on the old "all bronies are ghey" card, but calling us all bisexuals instead of gay really doesn't have nearly as much impact. Being Bi is pretty safe. There's hardly any negative connotations about being one.

The only people who should be offended by the troll, should be Bisexuals who don't want to be associated with Bronies. Of which IGN probably has very few

Well, I got home from the hospital today so as a welcome home gift my brother got me Battle Royale (one of my favorite movies…..don't look at me like that!) on Bluray and as I was watching it I got curious and thought "Hey, I haven't seen a Battle Royale crossover with Ponies." and went straight to Deviantart and found no crossovers with the two. I was quite surprised as I have finally found the one thing that hasn't been Ponified.

Now here comes Deadparrot to find a picture of Battleroyale being ponified and have my hopes being dashed.

At this point I feel bad for real Bisexuals, when they come out most people will probably just look at them and go "Oh, so that means you kissed a girl for a Facebook photo but you'll be chasing that man meat for the rest of your life while just describing your sexual acts with other women to horny men." Man, kids these days are just ruining everything these days. Man I love how being in your early 20's makes you feel so cynical about anyone younger than 18.

I'm already in a superminority in the fandom (all other Independent Baptists, raise your hand), so I don't really care if I get to be in the "straight" one as well. To try and stave off a possible circlejerk, lets talk about fanfics! What is your favorite and least favorite Fimfiction genre and why? ([Comedy], [Slice of Life], [Dark], [Crossover], [Romance], [Anthro], [Human], [Tragedy], [Sad], [Random], [Adventure], [Alternate Universe])

For me, it's a tossup between [Comedy] and [Dark]. Nothing's more satisfying than chuckling at Twilight's adorkableness, and nothing's more exciting than a gritty "Griffon invasion" story that has actual sense in the military strategy.

On the other hand, I hate [Human] stories with a passion. They all feature the same human, a sarcastic, dry witted person who must adapt to the "wacky" world of ponies. The Conversion Bureau stories make me roll my eyes with their two extremes, and the "first contact" ones are the only bearable ones, and even then, it's a countdown to see how long before the lack of a rime Directive causes the humans to dun goof.

(Now to watch as my attempt at stopping a circlejerk fails miserably.)

I was probably out of school by the time you were in 8th grade. In my schools, you would not want to admit to being LGBT. You'd get harassed for it for your entire term

Nobody thought being Bi was cool. In fact nobody thought Bi was a thing. Teens considered sexuality to be black & white thing so you were either gay or not.

But yea, kids trying to wear bisexuality as an "I'm cool" badge will not help people take it more seriously. That's gonna make people assume that it's some kind of trend than an actual sexuality and we still have people who ignorantly believe Bies don't exist but are merely gays or straights in some kind of denial

Never come across anyone gay or Bi before, or at least nobody who has said they are. I probably just don't get out and talk about it enough. Regardless, I'm glad we've got a few bi's hanging out here, not that it really makes a difference. I mean, if nobody told me, I never would have guessed… well, other than Mark. Not really, this isn't something I'd ever be willing to lie about in such a way. I like to be honest about this sort of thing.
Also, in addition to those who think bisexuality is trendy, there are those who seem to think that bisexuality genuinely makes you superior to straight people, thinking that you're "boring", "repressed" or "close-minded" if you only want to shag people of the opposite sex rather than both. And no, they DON'T seem to hold gay people to the same standard, even though by that very same logic they're "boring", "repressed" and "close-minded" due to only wanting to shag people of the same sex… That stupid psychological that everyone's a little bi gets the same reaction out of me.
I've got nothing against bisexual people that DON'T do this stuff, just to be utterly clear.
