OK, everyone. It may not matter here, but what do you think?

I'm going to try and illustrate pics for the next fic myself using regular MLP style animation style for the characters, and this anime style for awkward moments or when characters show heavy emotion like anger or shock. I intend on drawing the outlines of characters and drawing them regularly with color, but not filling or coloring within the lines, like so…

What do you guys think? Good idea… bad? Any suggestions?

It may not carry the entire fic, but it sounds nice so it should enhance what is there.

A entire page filled with 3-5 large images on each post was nothing less than common, let's just keep it at that. You can imagine how much you had to load each time.

So, has anyone else noticed that Deadparrot has lost his power to post appropriate pics? Used to be the Deadparrot could use his witchcraft to find a freakishly appropriate image for any occassion and lately he just…hasn't. Kind of disappointing honestly.

Maybe a witchhunter has found the box containing his disembodied heart and destroyed it, thus severely diminishing his powers.

Actual question: Are the mini-comics worth reading? MLP comics are the only merchandise I purchase and support the series through, so I tend to be pretty serious about getting them legally.

I was able to find some information on this tattoo. Apparently, the person's roommate did it for her. Which explains the drawn on look.

I wouldn't mind a Cutie Mark Tattoo (Though, I'd wait for the show to finish so I can see if I'd really WANT a tattoo from this show after it's aired for 8 years) but yeah that guy just screams total tool. See, when I'm wearing my new sunglasses I look like a major tool…….now I don't want a cutie mark tattoo because Fifths will want to murder me because I'd probably out-tool this guy.

I'll say right up front that I typically consider tattoos to be a bad or silly idea.
I just don't understand why someone would want to have some drawing permanently etched into their skin like that.
But if you are going to do it, at least make it something kind of cool:

Plus, it only really screams 'MLP' to someone who knows the show.
To the layman, t's just a cool dragon-thingy.

Just a personal encounter I had at EQLA:
Basically, this guy had just gone totally overboard with the temporary tattoos.
Since they are literally in every pack of cards, they are extremely common so essentially worthless in terms of trading.
I gave him a huge stack myself and he ended up covering himself in them, pretty much head to toe.

You can see them on his wrist in that picture there along with the world's most temporary (and edible!) souvenir.
I only wish I had gotten a picture of the rest of him…

You all get the cool MLP merch, and I can't find any like that (shirts, trading cards, the comics etc.)

If you want to get desperate, even the stores in our country offer the girly shit that gets categorized as girly shit. A two minute search on the Bart Smit or Intertoys websites already got me those suprise bags or the motherfucking "Trouwkasteel".

So yeah, simple figurines is pretty easy to get. For plushes you need to dig through Etsy or other sites and check who ships Europe.

Yeah, I saw the blindbags at the Intertoys, Twilight with a balloon in a couple of Kruidvat's, and pyjama's in the Action. And our local Coop one time had some magazine of MLP, didn't know what it was though. But it's true, we only get the really girly stuff.
Meh, I'd like maybe one blindbag of Dash or so, to hang on our PC monitor, not more figures than that. Got a shirt printed in the town I live, as I didn't know how much it costs to send stuff from USA to here. Need to check that, as I want a shirt of Vinyl and / or Octavia sometime.
