As some of you may know, this is the week of Hanukkah. The Jewish holiday with the lights, and the menorah, and the blue and white, and the stuff like presents, and that stuff. So, if anyone has any questions about Hanukkah, I will be answering them for the next eight days.
(Today is the first day of Hanukkah, btw.)

If this guy came to your house you would pee your pants.
WTF??? This thread is about Hanukkah!
And yes. I would.
why did you guys sink the titanic?
Because they knew too much.
Do you have any career options other than lawyer?
Or bank owner ?
Yes we have more career options than a lawyer or bank owner. We can be rabbis, film/tv show directors, CEOs of giant companies (except for Ford and German companies), and world controllers.
Does anyone have any real Hanukkah questions that are not based on stereotypes? Oy Vey!
I have a real Hanukkah question.
Is it true that the quality of presents declines over the week?
No. Actually, in traditional Judaism, you don't get presents for Hanukkah. You get gelt. Gelt is money given by parents or grandparents to children to enhance the happiness of the holiday. It is usually small coins which are not worth much. In North America, the gelt that is given to children usually are chocolate coins.
Well.
I did not know that.

Actually, no, I did not use Google translate. I know how to speak quite a lot of Hebrew.
Really?
I can actually read Hebrew, but not understand or speak it. And I can only read with vowels.
אני לא קורא עברית היטב. אני משתמש בשירות לתרגם כרגע.

JoeFilms, I have a serious question:
What the correct way to write the "Hannukah" word ? because I sometimes saw it written that way => Chanukah

@Tomberry:
Well, in Hebrew you spell it חנוכה, which is pronounced "Chanukah". So, technically, It should be spelled like that.

I have a real question, so you dont get presents just chocolate coins?
@Tomberry There are many different spellings for Hanukkah (20-something, I think) but the most popular are Hanukkah and Chanukah.
@ Redspear In traditional circles, yes. They do that also in Israel and Eastern Europe. However, the tradition in America to give presents started so Jewish children wouldn't feel left out because they wouldn't get presents while Christian children would.

i see
Yes. Us American Jews.
Is it true that the most of the Jews have a curved nose? (my brother went to Israel and he saw that most of the Jews had one)
I'm not sure. Mabye it comes from the "ch" sound we make. It may make it easier to say it.
