Harley Quinn. Not liking 90's harley quinn should be a sin. Also becouse hot DAMN

IMO, no one tops Dio. He is such a cruel heartless son of a bitch. Like..stealing a chick first kiss? check. Forcing a mother to eat her own son? Check. Killing million of people and create an army of undead? Check. Use the body of your enemy to send selfies to his grandson? Check. Dio is fucking hardcore.

As soon as I saw the thread, I was going to post Dark Samus, but it appears you beat me to the punch!

Dark Samus, AKA Metroid Prime, is awesome. Period. She nearly killed Samus TWICE, single-handedly took over the entirety of the Space Pirates, including Ridley himself, and was a stones-throw away from total galactic conquest. Not to mention her design and battle themes are just awesome.

More info here

This one isn't really that great when it comes to the actual villain part, but i'll be damned if this bakugan demon isn't one of the greatest final bosses of all time.

If were talking villains with an actual personality to them though, it would probably be this lovable little eyeball.

If were including anti-heroes, then allow me to include my favorite.

The fact that the near destroyal of everything she loves causes her to use many men to her own advantage to get it back, even if it costs relationships with other people including her own sisters. Even in the first act, she marries the cousin of her lover before he goes to war just to make her lover jealous. The first time I saw the movie, I was too young to know what was going on, but now I realize how unbelievable her actions were, even if it's because she lost it all from the war.

One of my favourite villains of all time. He was imposing, dark and powerful. I love the concept that was added that he was destined for greatness and bring balance to the force (which he did but by reducing the jedi and sith to 2 members each) this caused him to bring doom to a galaxy rather then being almighty like he was told and raised to be. Responsible for the extermination of the jedi and master of an army that had undying loyalty to him this showed one of movies best and iconic villains.

"Get on my level."

Carnage is one my favourite villains purely because he's evil because it's fun to him. When bound to Cletus the symbiote has an extremely strong bond because they are both pyschopaths that are almost destined for eachother. One of my favourite pages from a Carnage book (Carnage: Family Fued) is when Carnage makes fun by using a dead man as a puppet and says how Spider-man failed him. He made Peter start punching the symbiote of his body becasue he knew how to enrage him. I love to hate his sick sense of humour.

That moment when two people are arguing about who out of the same group of soldiers is the better one.

"No Venom beats Venom hands down"

Hazama/Yuuki Terumi from BlazBlue. He's just such a fucking psychopath and a giant troll all around. He's my favorite villain of all time, up there with Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2. He's so much of a troll that he literally feeds off your hatred for him. Yeah.

No no no. Stormtroopers and clonetroopers are not the same. After the fall of the republic, Palpatine ordered a conscription of humans, solely humans into the army. Clonetroopers were eventually phased out.

Yeah I kinda am into Star Wars.

Not entirely true. During the early days of the empire the clones became stormtroopers and eventually became a minority in the Imperial Army. And if you're talking humans vs clones.

"Commander Cody, a first generation clone of Jango Fett and a veteran of the Clone Wars, found stormtrooper recruits to be absolutely intolerable. Due to the significant decrease in the Imperial Military's operational effectiveness and his own feelings of nostalgia over the Republic's "army of one man," Cody viewed enlisted troopers as incompetent idiots, all of whom he would have gladly sacrificed for just one real clone trooper."

Your right, but in no way were the original trilogy stormtroopers clones. They were largely self independent. Clonetroopers worked as a unified, well oiled, collective force. Stormtroopers were humans, and had flaws. Clonetroopers were clones, genetically the same, designed to work together in a precise manner.

Stormtroopers were never that perfect. I know that is a blooper and the limitations at the time restricted potrayal, but they had character.

My favorite would have to be Doctor Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. It's funny how even though he had mystical powers, he was still very human. A prime example is the very end of the film. His powers came from his "friends" but feared them tremendously.

Best villains? Well, if we're talking anime, I've gotta go with Mad Pierrot from Cowboy Bebop, unquestionably.

You know that scene in the Dark Knight where the Joker says "This is what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object"? That's a pretty good description of Mad Pierrot – not only mad and violent but almost supernaturally powerful. He starts out creepy and gets steadily more disturbing as the episode goes onwards – he's also the rare villain whose backstory serves to make him even more terrifying, rather than destroy the "mystery" of how he's able to do what he does. Plus, he's one of three characters in the entire series ever to beat Spike Spiegel in single combat.
Out of a series filled with crazy, menacing, and dangerous characters, (Udai Taxim, Vincent, Vicious, Asimov Solensan) Mad Pierrot easily rises to the top of the pile as the most violent and deeply messed-up out of any of them.
He's also the unheard-of type of villain who's more disturbing in defeat than he is in victory. Just thinking about his last scene makes me a little sick to my stomach. Ugh.

This thread needs more Johan Liebert

If you've ever seen Trigun, imagine Legato doing all the same shit he does but without super powers. Johan is just THAT persuasive.

Friend from 20th Century Boys is a damn good villain as well.

Naoki Urasawa makes badass villains.

I must admit, I like villains with motivations and villains who are straight to the point about their villainy. And Exdeath might fall into the latter, but he definitely left an impression on me. There is something about him in original game what I like and being one of most powerful villains (IMO) of the franchise does help. His Dissidia appearance was really what really what made me like Exdeath.

Ulysses is my favorite Fallout character because, prior to the release of Lonesome Road, New Vegas and all of its other DLCs frequently alluded to some mysterious figure that was constantly working parallel to everything that the player was doing.
