They would reactivate/be unbanned and become active on the site again, they wouldn't leave yet again.

I'd bring back the emperor of downvotes, Palpitoad, they were so stupid that it was just entertaining to watch their antics, it was somewhat endearing in a way.

I feel like Bill and them would get along.

Tough call, I enjoyed Lez Huarez's shitposts, but would I actually want him back permanently?

Never really was that fond with the KYM community, but I knew about Palpitoad's whereabouts… it was just funny seeing the "I don't get it" joke around.

Lisa Lombs. She was strangely entertaining even outside politics.

You know I liked having Hrom around, Buddy. Just like many other cartoon uploaders he got banned for some sort of toxic behavior.

He was an active uploader so his absence is really noticeable, to me at least. He posted fanart of cartoons that next to no one cared about here like Penn Zero or Future Worm. I didn't get to talk much with him but he was always willing to discuss animation.

BTW, I wish you could access the galleries of deactivated users. They posted cool content and you can still find it but sometimes I just can't remember where exactly to look for it.

I talked to the admins about unbanning Lisa.

Don said that she had contacted him a while after she was banned requesting that he remove some personal information from her profile. During their exchange, she expressed a desire to move on from site. Presumably, she does not want to come back, so petitioning for an unban would be pointless.

If she ever expresses a desire to come back, I assume that Don is open to the idea.

I talked to the admins about unbanning Lisa.

Why would you do that.
 
If I remember correctly, it felt more like a "Eh, this is too much trouble" in general less than a bannable offense. Value was lost, but value was gained.

While I just talked to him once, going by everything I've heard, I would've love getting to know him better; maybe we could've even be friends.
- Obviously, he loved posting NSFW stuff.
- He was actually liked by the people around, it seems. Except for…
- He is hated by the prude users and mods.
- He actually posted his fair share of SFW funny images and anime GIFs, by the little I can find now.

All of those a great traits in my book. Even if it is just to know what his gallery contribution looks like, or having a talk about anime, lewds stuff or whatever, I wish he was unbanned even for an instant… or at least know what he does now.

Aye, since Lisa is no longer an option I'm going to go with Tupolev, Sir Soundwave, and/or maybe Trollanort.

This is not a wish, but I have to ask:

What is keeping these banned users from coming back? Are you guys blocking their IP address or some other protocol like the MAC or physical? Because you can change the IP with a VPN, as for the MAC you just need to switch to any device that can access the Internet.

Does it matter? Even if these users indeed returned they wouldn't even act like themselves in order to maintain a low profile since bypassing bans is strictly forbidden.
Even if you were sure it's them you'd only see a lobotomized image of their former self.

for a regular user aching to make amends maybe, but the banned troll is not afraid to make themselves known to cause a ruckus again.

Oh yeah, I heard that setting up an account to negotiate conditions of getting unbanned is the only allowed instance of bypassing a ban. If you simply resume your normal activities and the staff figures out it's you, you'll get banned once again. That's how Luigifan was booted off the site for good, according to him at least.

So if you don't want to get banned again you have to wait for being unbanned (if you weren't permabanned, that is). If you were to evade a ban you'd have to conceal your true identity forever or risk getting discovered and punished.

I would choose Calculator Fetishist. He had a very good point with his obvious satire on some users and was banned for less than what others have done. I know trolling is against the rules and yes he was trolling the site with what he was doing. But he did open a few eyes to the current state of the site (especially the gallery) and for that I congratulate him.

That and I suspect he was an alt to someone active around the time and possibly still is active now. Seems pointless to keep the account banned if the one who made it still has full access to the site.
