Shit's getting ugly. TL:DR, Pitchford has gotten into a legal battle with former Gearbox general counsel Wade Callendar, with both sides accusing and suing each other for fraudulent behavior. Callendar's accused of taking out six-figure loans from the company for personal use and not repaying them, while Callendar claims Randy failed to pay him for services rendered and forced out when he made a stink.

Now things have gotten real nasty with personal attacks, and Callendar now claims that Pitchford had a USB of underage child porn, and used Gearbox funds to pay for peacock parties.

Personal Take: this is pretty viscous. If someone accuses someone of having child porn, you'd better have some ironclad proof for it.

Him having a USB drive with porn on it and someone finding it is straight out of a 4chan greentext. He and his company have become a literal shitpost.

The lawyer filed a religious discrimination complaint with the Texas Workforce Commission's Civil Rights Division ten days prior to Gearbox suing him, which raises the likelihood the suit could be in retaliation.

The drive also had a ton of the companies private information, including early builds for games and financial information. The kid didn't do anything with it because Pitchford gave him tons of free merch and games, his words not mine.
