Okay this is a bit of exaggeration and I'm not trying to say everyone who watched cartoons are babies. But, I feel like there's this weird animation age ghetto going on where one form animation is adult where as the other is it. You can see this in marketing where any serious western animation these days is labeled anime to bank off the whole anime craze that's been going on. And I sometimes feel reluctant in stating I like certain things without someone calling me a baby for enjoying. It might happen rarely but when it does happen…oof..

I made a mistake with the title: it was suppose to be am I a baby for enjoying western cartoons…sucks I can't fix that typo.

The Venture Bros, Archer, and Bojack Horseman are all western cartoons. I wouldn't say anyone would call you a baby for watching those.

If you watched mostly children's cartoons then it's still not a big deal, but honestly that's because those are specifically aimed to kids. Being called childish for liking things aimed at kids is nothing new and not exclusive to animation.

Now if you only watch children's cartoons I would suggest you diversify your series just because there's a lot of really good series you may be missing. But if you're content where you are, I don't really see the issue.

I draw the line at anything for preschoolers. Makes me feel kinda creeped out. Anything for 7 years and older is fine i guess but I’ve been watching cartoons less and less over the years l

No but given you keep making threads along these lines I think you're very insecure and seriously need to stop worrying about other people's impressions of you as much, that's not a dig at you, I really mean that.

I hate making excuse but I feel like the downvote system forces to act in favor of getting sweet likes and upvotes which causes my actual opinions to be censored. So I pretend to act like this for the sake of the “hive mind” or kymcore. I know that sucks but I hoesntly don’t want to be another A wolf .

I actually agree with at least some of Wolf's opinions and feel like the site is oversaturated with sexy girl content that's better suited to being on an actual booru. I don't bring it up because I know no-one else here cares for that opinion and I'm not going to change their minds, upvotes and downvotes factor very little into what I post, every site has it's circlejerks and you just kinda need to disregard it and not let that discourage you from speaking your mind.

Personally I read most comments that are buried just out of curiosity if they actually deserve it or not, and more than I few times I've actually agreed with them, so I don't see it as particularly being censored.

I like sexy girls it's jsut that the "sexy" girls that are posted here aren't to my standards despite enjoying anime. It can get tiring after while as magic starts to fade. But guess since techinally they're memes "they must kept". No wonder I've been frequenting this site less and less….

On the topic of having a KYM type booru, I feel like that's the only endgame we could have as long as we have a "trending images" gallery. I mean, if an image is fitting for the article it was posted in, it doesn't necessarily get on trending, whereas the 8,456th Shantae image will get on there, something that is absolutely not necessary for the sake of the article
