If you're a millennial like me you'll no doubt know him best for playing Hagrid, but he also had some other pretty notable roles throughout the years. For example he was in the comedy series Blackadder the Third playing Samuel Johnson (the figure famously used in this meme ), he played Valentin in two Pierce Brosnan era James Bond films (and if you played Goldeneye 64 you'll know Valentin as the informant you meet in the Statue level), and provided his voice to Pixar's Brave.
