It really seems like all this "new slang" is is just taking already established words and shortening them like slang's been doing since forever. I don't understand why other generations are so freaked out by it.

To me, hearing "new slang", doggo language, etc. is like watching a failing stand-up comedian; it seems like they think they're funny or cute but I just want to choke on an ice cube.

Seems like the new generations are moving close to the …..fuckboy douche type of direction
