A derivative from "casino irony" jokes, the 'Let's go gambling' / 'Aw dangit' viral video and audio, is now being used for fan animations and lip dubs often portraying someone trying and failing at something multiple times. Where Is The 'Let's Go Gambling' Meme From?

TikToker @raxdflipnote decided to have some fun with Flipnote Studio, a free downloadable application available through the Nintendo DSi's digital distribution service, creating a video animated where a man exclaims, "Let's go gambling!" then spins a slot machine unsuccessfully numerous times, saying "Aw, dangit" after every failed spin. The video was posted on TikTok and uploaded to raxdflipnote's YouTube channel in May 2024.

How Did The 'Let's Go Gambling' Meme Went Viral On TikTok?

It took only a couple of weeks for @raxdflipnote's animated clip to draw online attention and inspire memes, jokes and fan animations on the internet. For example, On May 21st, TikToker @shadygto posted a video using the audio showing how he was pulled over by the police after racing with his car (seen below, left). On May 24th, TikToker @rippin_lips_tv_ posted a video with the "Let's go gambling" audio after a disastrous day trying to fish.
