A tie? WAAAAIT.

Someone who voted for Witchy must have been mafia! For the record, that was Douglas, Ashbot, BSOD, and Brawler.

Also, first mafia down! Finally.

The best part is that we also have a lead on who the next mafia may be. As opspe pointed out, at least one of the witch voters was mafia

The witchy voters:
-Douglas
-BSOD
-Brawler
-Ashbot

We know Ashbot is not a mafia and I know it isn't me, so its either Douglas or Brawler as far as I can tell. I have my eye on Douglas in particular

Actually that was one of my suspicions. The mafia has at least two members who have not said much in this game. Gespent has said nothing for the last three turns.

Well, good, now we're getting somewhere. At least now we can just vote for who we think is mafia, rather than keep up this tie business.

Here's an idea. Let's all waste one turn by having everyone vote for one person each. By the end of the turn only those who have votes from villagers will be in a tie. This is an easy way to pick out a mafioso. I'm kidding by the way, this method would be strange and unfair. I'd rather win by other means.

Ha! I knew Niko was Mafia!

And we learned that Blue Screen, Douglas, or Brawler were Mafia. For all we know, two of those people could have been Mafia. Assuming all 5 Mafia voted, the votes could have been split as follows:

• Witch King: 2
• Niko: 1
• 404: 1
• opspe: 1

(I really hope they were split like this, because then the voters for 404 and opspe are automatically known to be Mafia)

My bets are on Blue Screen. Assuming the Mafia were using the tactic I proposed on the last page, it would make sense for them to propose a villager as an alternative target right after Bob pointed suspicion to one of their own. The first alternative was proposed by Blue Screen. He also seems a little too confident of his own innocence, despite his actions never leading us in the right direction so far (though I guess that could just be bad luck).

Also, why do I get the feeling that I'm next? *barricades doors*

Finally had a bit of time to read and play catch up. So we bagged our first mafioso!

Now we actually stand a chance.

Since their numbers are even now, and we're down to few, it'll be easier for us here on out. I remember Mister J reassuring us that most of the time the villagers end up winning this sort of game.

So I don't get it. If Blue Screen, Douglas, or Brawler are highly suspected mafia, why isn't anyone voting for them?

BSoD was walking home from the Dick Hut IRC when he stopped by Hell The Shipping thread to see what was going on. When he arrived, he saw a horrible sight- a dead Natsuru being shipped with Cthulhu.

Now the mafia went after Natsuru, they are trying to make it personal now. I have a feeling they did that just to make a few people angry

I wanted to keep a tie between somebody, that's why I voted for Witch-King despite the fact that Niko was a much more apparent target. Even then, I still could not be absolutely certain if Niko was a mafia, therefore I chose to stick with the tie plan we were trying to make rather than put everything on one player. This was before you came along and pointed out that the tie plan was never going to work after all.

After you made your last point and revealed how the tie was not going to work I was about to switch my vote over to Niko but unfortunately by the time I found your post, the voting had closed and I was stuck with what I had. Just be glad that it worked out in the end and we got who we wanted. But keep in mind that it did not prove Witchys innocence

Anyway, for who to vote next I'm going to wait but I suspect either Douglas or Brawler. One or both of them could be mafia (both of them make short information-lacking posts which are telling signs) and Douglas has my attention especially.

And I don't know about you Algernon but I have a feeling the Mafia might come after me first

I'm going to go out on a limb here. The mafia has been playing… in an interesting way. Through all this I'm going to have to point towards BSoD. The mafia is lead by someone who can plan at a greater level than confused puppy. I'd have to say that this would be one of the smarter people left in the game. This leaves BSoD, Opspe and Algernon. As my notes show, BSoD has never voted for a person who has died by villager votes. It's either a great coincidence or his vote never counted.

Hey there RJ. Glad to see you're back. It was pretty boring without you. Are you still mad that I got you killed?

Alright, lets take a look at some facts. Bob is suggesting that my vote is not counting based on the results of previous votes. So lets take a closer look at how my vote counted in those previous votes:

First vote:

Wheatley: 5
Iambob: 7
RJ: 1
Douglas: 1
Seal Clubba: 5

IamBob died by a landslide vote for him, there was no tie here. I was the only person that voted for RJ because at the time I made the vote there was already tie in place that I didn't want to disturb. It was later disrupted when I was not watching the thread. So I was not responsible for a villager death in that vote, not because my vote did not count, but because I voted for the wrong person entirely. I explained that if I knew someone was going to screw up the tie, I would not have let that happen

Second vote:

RJ: 6
Seal: 5
Random: 2

Seal Clubba died that time despite the fact that I voted for RJ, this is because RJ killed himself and left the game before the day ended thus wasting my vote and leaving Seal Clubba to face the chopping block. If RJ had not killed himself then he would have died thanks to my vote.

Third vote:

Witch King: 4
Niko: 3
404: 1
opspe: 1

Now this time we ended up with a tie despite the fact that I voted for Witchy. This tie succeeded because at least one of the people who voted for Witchy was a mafia. Suspect me for that if you may, but the previous votes do not point to me any more than they point to anyone else who voted for Witchy.

In conclusion: Coincidence

Now I don't know how Douglas or Brawlers votes affected those same votes. So Bob I don't suppose you have any notes on that too?

You make good points. I'm just saying that it's a bit too coincidental that you managed to vote for the surviving party three times. It makes me wonder if you only did so to disguise your role. Looking through my notes, I notice something else though. Douglas has not voted for a dying party either. You're both in the same boat… So I propose a tie between BSoD and Douglas. If anyone has any arguments, please let them be known and we will work from there.

Based on Bob's rundown of the evidence, I agree with this orchestrated tie between BSOD and Douglas. I'm going to cast the first stone and vote for BSOD – not because I have anything against him specifically versus Douglas, but because I feel that, between the two, he'd be the more dangerous mafioso.

I really don't understand the logic being used here…

This is becoming just like that time I got voted out of the last game for being the first person to make a vote. We all remember how that game turned out.

Alright fine, I have absolutely no idea how I got myself into this situation but it seems a tie between myself and Douglas is the plan now. If I have to be involved then so be it, just as long as we do this right and nail some mafia.

I was thinking that. Blue Screen has played well so far, so why give up now? If he's a villager, that's a really stupid move. It couldn't possibly help him out in any way. If he's Mafia though, insisting on manufacturing a tie and voting for himself would help him survive.

Since I'm still worried that the Mafia are manipulating our tactics, I'm gonna ignore the tie and vote Blue Screen.

Wait, why would BSOD vote himself? I haven't payed much attention to the thread shortly after i died, can someone update me?

Normally, I'd keep a running countdown of sorts, but since PWNED took over, I can't tell. His last post was made "1 day ago." He may be able to say when, but I can't, because "1 day ago" could mean 24 hours ago to 47 hours ago.

Just keep doing what you're doing until Itiz says stop. He won't count any votes past that time, and I don't think he's going to be gone for too much longer. He'll check in soon.

As for the current votes, I'm neither narrator or player anymore. But since I'm closer to narrator, I feel as if I shouldn't.

Because everyone is just jumping on my case now even though I have tried my damn best to uncover who the mafia are. I know where this is going, this is exactly like how Bob got voted off in the first round simply for being the more high profile player.

The mafia must have laughed so hard when we did that. Now it looks like they get that chance to laugh again.

If I vote for Douglas, Bob will find it suspicious. If I vote for myself, Bob will find it suspicious. If I do anything, Bob will call HAX no matter what. So I give up. GG Mafia, you have beaten me.
