So yeah, Tulpa thread
This should be moved to general, I believe.
I used to be really big on tulpa shit like a year ago. I fell out of it for the most part, but I try to maintain the process I made…
What exactly is tulpa?

Go back to riff raff Cale.
(But seriously, I'm genuinely curious and the stuff I'm finding on google is pretty vague).
This is a tulpa, don't have sex with it or you'll lose all your friends like pyro lol.

Its when people make a head person. Like, another person in their head. Its creepy and seems like trouble.
Here is some more info that I found by using google for a whole five seconds.

MFW reading the Wikipedia page:
ITT: Really weird shit, borderline psychosis.
Makes parents proud and grades straight
Requesting move to "Creative".
@Bona
Requesting move to “Creative”.
Well that depends. Are we going to actually discuss tulpamancy or are we all just going to freak out and shitpost reaction faces? If it's the former then I might be more inclined to move it
I've said plenty on Tulpas before and I don't feel like repeating myself too much
But I'll say; no it's not psychosis. No it's not insanity. No there isn't any known danger to it aside from the risk of spilling dangerous amounts of spaghetti. Yes it is weird. And Cale is funny, har hardy har har
My simplest description of a Tulpa is this: A trained thought
Some of you might remember having an imaginary friend as a kid. Well it's a bit like, but to the next level. Turns out that the matured adult mind can do some crazy shit with imaginary beings. I say it is 'a trained thought' because the way you make these things is by coming up with a character in your imagination and you 'train' it to have a working, independent personality. With enough practice, your brain is able to operate it automatically
I can't get too detailed because there's no good way to define a Tulpa. Nobody has really figured this whole thing out
But most of the time Tulpas are just your own subconscious mind talking back to you, only in the form of a character that you have mentally constructed and you can visualize that character running around the place
Everyone experience is different. Some people have described "hallucinations" and realistically perceiving things that don't exist, but for others it's just having an active imagination
I hear a lot of scare words whenever Tulpas are mentioned, but I'd be wary of that. People who act like Tulpa's are scary shit often don't know jack shit about them. Honestly, they seem pretty harmless
Just don't go around casually talking about the voices in your head to people you meet (They tend to get the wrong idea)

Urban Dictionary defines it as "Brony term for imaginary friend."
Wikipedia defines it as "Tulpa – translated as "magical emanation", "conjured thing" or "phantom" is a concept in mysticism of a being or object which is created through sheer spiritual or mental discipline alone."
So in other words, an imaginary friend created by your own "spiritual or mental power" (or something, idk)
