So..how do you imagine some users on KYM in real life?

• I've seen an IRL pic of Loli before, but I imagine him browsing KYM with a smug grin nearly all the time.

• I imagine Jacob looking similar to his avatar

• I imagine KYM's resident planefuckers (Eurofighter Typhoon, and Tupolev) always in jet pilot gear and their respective rooms covered with jet plane posters

I imagine every moderator as an overweight man in his early to mid twenties with poor grooming and hygine, posting from his parents basement while eating doritos and hotpockets.

I might be biased from my years of imageboard use.

I imagine most people as their profile picture if they keep it long enough.

• Twenty-One: Generic "senpai"-looking anime character in his twenties.
• Drpepperfan: A guy in shorts with ice cream.

• Twisty: Terezi, with gold chains and gold teeth.
• Crow the Magician: His avatar.
• Spider-Byte: A ginger with a Spiderman shirt on.
• Nima: Holo, but tubbier, with sweatpants and a shirt saying "Yiff".

• Tillsterrulz – A young man wearing his grandfather's WW2 officer uniform. [cue joke about how the uniform is a Nazi one]
• Holycrapitsbob – a Jojo's Bizarre Adventure-styled version of the default KYM avatar

I imagine most people as their avatars, as a lot of people have said, but with a few exceptions I can't really explain.

I see everyone as their Avatar, no matter if its on this site, other games, etc. It could even be of a character I already know but I'd still associate that particular character with that particular person.

Tbh, tho, I already know what a good amount of users on here look like irl.

In-spite of knowing what a lot of users actually look like now, a lot of my mental images are either "A person cosplaying as their avatar" or "Just their avatar".

There are a few people who have a proper human image of in my head, but they look like pathetic losers so I won't name any names.

Hmm, let's see….

• Peacock Roy: Marisa
• Natsuru: Reimu
• Lurk: Either Master Chief, the Chesire Cat monster girl, or that one random purple-haired wolf girl.
• Tupolev: Ryuko. (Which is weird because is avatar is of Mako, and his waifu is Nui.)
• Whit3: His current avatar or that one avatar he used back when he was Jungle Yiffer.
• Nima: The two snuggling cat girls she first used.

Believe it or not, I actually do bear a resemblance to Young Xehanort (Just minus the silver spiky hair, baritone, and general bishieness)
As for others,

• Lurk: A surprisingly well-groomed adult male that is hyper quiet IRL
• Tupolev: Dude wearing a heavy jacket while looking at planes for some reason

• Sam: IT'S A REALLY CONVINCING TRAP! (And I say that with no intended offense)

Usually I see people as their av when just looking at their posts at any normal time, even the more abstract ones like I see Blubber as a distorted barely discernible image of captain blubber that looks more like balls on acid. But when I try to imagine people in real life I usually just use from pictures I've actually seen of them or just from what they've described sometimes. Like for example I've never seen Risette or Girlie but all of them have described themselves enough for me to get a vague image. (Girlie's really hard on herself though, think better of yourself sis) There are some people I imagine from totally fabricated images though like 21 I just imagine him as a generic 16 year old dude and he kind of looks like the bishies he worships except in real life. I have a hard time imagining bob since I'm not entirely sure of his age and I'm so used to staring at his av which suits him so well I swear that is him.

But yeah usually it switches between av (which is what I see most of the time) and what I've seen in real life because lots of people have camwhored over the years or I've just seen them through other means (like Synge, I saw him in a friend's school Spanish video. Pretty hot tbh)

EDIT: Wait people imagine me as a convincing trap? I feel surprised but also not surprised. Don't worry guys I won't let you down I'll meet that image… someday.

Look up "cam whore" in the forum search and you'll find like 10 different threads of people posting their IRL pics, you'll be pretty surprised how many people participate. Sure you won't find everybody but enough. It's worth a look trust me, I'd link them but there are a lot.

I never seen anyone's face on here. The only exception being NON, which is classified as generic white teen. Other than that I usually think of their avatars when they post if they remain consistent enough.

Loli: A small 7 year old girl. Doesn't actually fit personality, but I find it funny.

Minty: small hungry african child who has a demon days bag or some shit

Sam: Before you came out as transgender and before I really got to know you, I usually just thought of an average neckbeard sterotype. But now I'm not sure. Lana probably.

Oh my god I imagine you as like a 9 year old not even kidding. The only pic I ever saw of you you looked 9 it's amazing so it's just stuck ever since. Sometimes I actually imagine you as this one white-ass friend I have though who wears nikes and loves nearly all the same artists you do I swear he's your clone. Some people just fit their av and it's kinda awesome. Others kinda break the role and well, eh. Like the late Alex Mercer mod. He's not the first but he tends to copy other people's av and wall which is pretty cool since his original av is Alex Mercer, the shapeshifter. And then you see him posting about anime which is weird because then you imagine Alex Mercer the biohazard terrorist being into Boku no Pico or something.
