Ok, so I have a bit of a problem.

I'm being paid $125 to play at a local music scene this Saturday with a couple of friends. Only problem is, our group can't decide what we want our name to be. So far we have:

Armed for Bear
Half-Life
Rain & Rivers
Died of Dysentry

and nothing else. =/ any name ideas, guys?

Thinking up cool band names is a pasttime of mine (oh the joys of being friendless) so here's some I think are cool.

Pimp Creed
Sammy Basketball and the Fugitives
The Assmen Bluesmen
Immaculate Funk
Crash Course Horse
Toys in the Haddock

and

Cunderthunt.

If I were to choose one of the previously suggested ones it'd be Armed for Bear.

You must become a poopfist cover band.

Seriously though, Armed for Bear is the coolest.

Also naming your band something with a cause would be cool, maybe satire or irony?

You know because a lot of people love to bitch, and if you got a band bitching, every ones happy.

just take 2 random words and put them together. for example:

Cardboard door
Glass photo
Meaty zombies
Buried mahogany

The Booty Crusade

Academic Trash has a nice Ring to it

I like all the ones Blubber mentioned, and Academic Trash does have a nice ring to it.

Well, I talked to the guys.

Crash Course Horse (thanks, Blubber!), Academic Fixture, Armed for Bear, and The Fixture were the final competing names, but finally we edited and renamed ourselves down to:
