February 20th I dropped my ice cream.
It was good ice cream.

February 21st I bought another ice cream and waited until I got home to eat it.
Only once I got home did I realise that the ice cream has melted somewhat and there's no way to return it to its original shape.

February 22nd I scarfed down on another ice cream the moment I bought it.
It was really cold.

March 24th – Net Neutrality is saved, but the adblock ghost now appears on every site.
April 1st – April Fools Day is cancelled.
September 22nd – The 21st of September is skipped entirely, angering many an Earth, Wind & Fire fan.
October 31st – Halloween is cancelled because the killer klown kraze from 2016 returns.
November 1st – A man dressed as Batman apprehends all of the killer clowns, marking the only good thing that happens this year.
December 1st – AND NOW DECEMBER
FOUND THE LOVE THAT WE SHARED IN SEPTEMBER
ONLY BLUE TALK AND LOVE
REMEMBER THE TRUE LOVE WE SHARED TODAY~
December 25th – The person I gave my heart to last Christmas (who then immediately threw it away the next day) will be shocked to know that I gave it to someone special this year.
December 31st – The ghost of Kira Yoshikage appears and uses Bite the Dust to return us to January 1st, creating an endless timeloop that restarts after every Watanagashi festival.

The meme culture in general of 2018. Just the fact unironically eating Tide pods have became a meme is enough to show the direction of where we're going.

Oh, and I guarantee that in late 2018, US ISPs will make "website lootboxes" to unlock your favorite website for a sense of pride and accomplishment when doing so. Good luck unlocking Know Your Meme, though.

Oh, and Disney will probably buy out another company this year. The most likely target is Hasbro, as they make all of the Disney licensed toys for Marvel products.
