Quick question do I catch the first pokemon I find in a cave to?

In each route, cave, forrest, anywhere you can catch Pokemon.

On a related topic, I've been Nuzlocke-ing Blue version.

I'm currently standing in the doorway of Lorelei's room. There is no turning back.
Torso the Hitmonlee.
Stickers the Nidoking.
Barnacle the Omastar.
Surfboard the Lapras.
Pedro the Pidgeot.
Firebro the Charizard.

Wish me luck. It begins now.

What's wrong with that? I have a Nidoking named Susan.

Lorelei has been defeated. My team emerges victorious, without a scratch.

After a very intense match between Pedro the Pidgeot and Bruno's Machamp, I advance to Agatha's chamber.

Stickers the bro-for-life Nidoking took on Agatha's team single-handedly, and walked away untouched.

The battle with Lance seemed one-sided, until his Aeordactyl scored a very ill-timed critical hit against Barnacle the Omastar. Barnacle shook it off like it was nothing, and countered with a critical hit Surf. One-hit KO.

Epic music begins to play. He sends out a Pidgeot. I send out Stickers. The battle begins.

Stickers obliterates Pidgeot with Thunderbolt. Thanks for the TM, Lt. Surge.
Gary tries to counter with his Alakazam. Firebro steps in, nails it with a critical Slash, and that's the end of that.
Rhydon comes out next. I choose Barnacle. Hopefully Rhydon will recover soon sometime this month.
Next up is Arcanine. I see no reason to switch out. Hydro pump ends this match very quickly.
Exeggutor steps up to the plate, and is met with Firebro. Need I explain?
But now Gary sends out Blastoise. I leave this last match to my Lapras, Surfboard, who promptly critical hits with Body Slam. Blastoise, now in yellow health after one attack, launches one feeble Bite attack before being silenced by Psychic.

My Nuzlocke is now complete.

Is nutzlocke where u store pokemon when they feint or something? Someone fill me in on this please.
