My friend says heartgold has more pokemon.

Neither. Digimon is the way to go.

HeartGold its more than silver.

Pick the opposite one that everybody else is getting.

I always did that, Example: people got sapphire mostly, and I got ruby.

The Pokemon you can get in HeartGold are better, like Ariados or Kyogre
