Hang on, I downloaded rm2k3 and it still won't allow me to play it.

You may have to pack all of the files into a single zip folder in order for it to run.

I say we should make the game using C++
It's a lot more difficult, bit it can be run as a bare .exe and we can fit more features in the game that we can't with RPG Maker, which can't do half the stuff that we need it to do.

Well, that can't be good. Anybody else in this thread that can code C++?

On an unrelated note, i had an awesome idea for the quirkiness of the game in general. Considering it's an RPG, and generally, RPGs have quests (which this one has, such as teh Sidequest Altered Arte quests), whenever you accept a quest, text should pop up saying 'CHALLENGE ACCEPTED'. :D

Yes, because RPG maker is a programming language. RG even mentioned earlier that he could take over programming if you had problems with it (IIRC).

that shouldn't come as a huge surprise to anyone who has been following this thread for a while.

Allright, if it comes down to it, Ill learn how to program useing C++. Im good at learning these types of things and it shoulden't take too long.

HOWEVER, I will also suggest looking for Alternate Programs that are more user freindly before we devote ourselfs to useing C++, mainly something free or something open source. (I have been useing Game Maker for awile now, and that actually has some potential.)

I just remembered something! One of my buddies told me he found a real simple-to use game maker called Platinum Arts Sandbox 3d Game Maker. Can someone look into it for me? I can't get past the Great Firewall of the Education System lol

Everyone who has their character represented shouled be helping with the script, but mostly I have been the one who has been wrighting it, along with Real Genius.
I know we have some capeable artists flying around here, and we just had three volenteers for Programing, so I think we will be fine.

Im not too shure on specific details yet, but just to see what we are going to be getting give us sound effects for these:
KYM-Tan: A Sword scrapeing on the ground, a sound of electricety traveling across the ground, and the electricety hitting something and stoping. (Demon Fang Attack)
Len: Several guitar strums, each with a higher pitch.

you should reference Reservoir dogs where all the characters get into 4chan by dressing up in black suits while little green bag is being played but i think its too late to say that. although it would be a cool idea

Weegee is the Extra Dungeon Boss, but yes, we do have some summons/ assist characters.

Other game mechanic's include Unison Attacks, Entire Party swaps (for when one team is defeated), Sidequest learned attacks, and one time use attacks that must be aquired/ bought.

Some user gets depressed after the other users get mad at him. The user leaves the party for a while and decides to spend some time in a tree. He grabs a fruit from the tree and draws a face on it. The fruit comes to life and cheers that user up. The fruit is jack candle.
