While nowadays the original soundbite is most often associated with shitposts and the YouTuber and streamer Twomad, the whole thing dates back to 1990 thanks to The Howard Stern Show, one of the most infamous American talk radio shows. The whole thing originated from a producer accidentally misremembering the name of Quick Draw McGraw's sidekick Baba Looey, which Stern and others then proceeded to make fun of him for. They then turned "Baba Booey" into a nickname for said producer and the name became a meme among Stern's audience. Yelled during swings at golf tournaments , referenced on Seth McFarlane TV shows like Family Guy and American Dad , and shit even being said to and by Trump on live TV , this is a meme that feels like it's not only stood the test of time but is versatile enough to adapt with them to some extent.

Don't forget when Filthy Frank also used it several times.
