Yesterday, my friend told me that apparently, the RNC saw a surge in Grindr usage. Based on this article, it may be mostly false crash reports, or at least not as significant as the DNC's usage. However, inspired by a comment on the Ear Bandages entry, I began to wonder if there was anything else being talked about on Xitter / other social media sites.
Since I don't really use other social media and don't feel like slogging through the chronically online's stream of consciousness, I can't write/create any articles about certain events like Hulk Hogan's speech since I wouldn't be able to determine if there was sufficient memetic spread.
Of course, since these are political memes / events, I don't blame any of you for not wanting to research this crap, since there's a lot more to life than politics, and frankly I'm tired of it all too.
