Ey guys!

i'm honestly bored as heck, and I wanna binge on some anime and what not so here's what i'm looking for:

  • im mostly into action, sci-fi, urban fantasy, comedy, horror, ecchi (shounen and seinen demographics, don't mind josei though) , i prefer romance to be an afterthought than the main focus thank you.
  • any thing before 2010s as well but if there's any modern anime that isn't moeblob isekai garbage please notify me.
  • 50 episodes is my limit per season or series

also i really like art styles like these:

basically, 1-4 on this scale

forgive my pickiness, it's just that with all this shitposting with cute anime girls kinda turned me off from anime for a good while so…

I know it's not really in keeping with your described preferences, but have you seen Beastars yet?
Also, JJBA: Stardust Crusaders is now available in English on Netflix. I just got done rewatching it the other day.

EDIT: Speaking of anime on Netflix, I just watched the first episode of Pop Team Epic. I didn't know what it was. I still don't know what it is. I'm going to pour myself some strong stuff and try to watch the second episode and hope not to die before the end. You can watch it too and share in my mental anguish.

Some general recommendations of series that isn't ubiquitous (like FMA or Cowboy Bebop):

Daily Lives of High School Boys (Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou)
Cromartie High School
And Yet the Town Moves (Soredemo Machi Wa Mawattieru)
Plastic Nee-san (+tic nee-san)
Space Adventure Cobra (this series is old, but still entertaining)
Parasyte (no not the Korean movie)

Monster it's slightly longer than you prefer, at 74 episodes, but it's great psychological thriller/horror/detective.

I second Cromartie High School for its absurd comedy.

Now and Then, Here and There it's little old now, but a dark isekai set in a scifi dystopian without the tropes and power fantasies that plague the genre now.

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood if you haven't seen it. I think it's around 50ish episodes.

Code Geass perhaps? It's a mecha anime where the main character has mind control powers. I think both seasons together have around 40 something episodes.

It's a bit difficult without knowing what you've seen, but my recommendations:

Comedy:
-Asobi Asobase
-Konosuba
-Baka to Test
-Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt
-Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou
-Oniichan dakedo Ai sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne!(it's also ecchi, but I thought it was decent. Romance is a bit "upfront" though I think. It's a harem show)
-Sabage-bu

And non-comedy:

-Blood Blockade Battlefront (action)
-Scrapped Princess (more adventure than anything, but I feel it's solid enough to recommend despite your genre preferences. Made in 2003.)
-Witch Craft Works (it was decent but disappointing if I remember correctly. However, I think it focused on fights. )
-Akame ga Kill (pretty sure this is action? It's been a while since I watch this…)

the "cute girls doing cute things" and "moe blob" aspects are either non-existent or very minimal in these, if I recall correctly.

I would heartily recommend Mob Psycho 100, probably my favourite anime ever. The artstyle might not be your cup of tea, but it more than makes up for it with endearing characters (Reigen Arataka is one of my favourite characters ever) and spectacularly animated action scenes. On that note, check out also One-Punch Man, or at least Season 1. I haven't seen Season 2, but judging from some of the clips I stumbled upon, the animation takes a dip in quality.
