In general, it looks like the agreements allows Bigwest (owner of Macross) to distribute Macross globally outside of Japan, and Harmony Gold (owner of Robotech) will be allowed to release a upcoming live action Robotech movie in Japan, and to continue producing and distributing Robotech products using the Macross characters they have the license for (except in Japan).

I have always heard that there were some legal problems with getting Macross over here but I never knew the full story. Does this mean we can finally get some Super Robot Wars outside of Japan?
