10/10
This is where my username idea came from.
We are blinded with science.
10/10
Absolute 80's classic- always been a favorite if mine.

You gotta love the Michigan Rag song!
4/10
I never been a big fan of that singing frog.
it was really hard to choose one song from this movie:

This Haddaway track isn't nearly as popular as the What Is Love track they have.
7.5/10
Not exactly my style, but still entertaining.

This 80s club/dance/R&B classic is SUPREMO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
7/10
an 80s classic that we shall overhear on the radio.

Too slow of a burn for my tastes.
2/10
Not enough bass drop.
7/10, not something I'd listen to often, but it's a nice upbeat and catchy tune.
5/10, too digital and polished IMO
My adult self says this song is a 7/10
But my inner teenager says a 10/10 just for the cover art.
So yeah…I'm conflicted.
And speaking of the Vietnam war:
6/10 To me, it's rather boring compared to some of their other songs.
7/10; sounds good, but not something I would remember or listen to on a regular basis
8/10 A rather metal song. The singer has an interesting voice.
8/10, Dishonored has a really good soundtrack in general too, and part of the middle section gives me a System of a Down vibe
8/10 The instrumental makes me feel like I'm watching an 80's cop drama.

8/10 Interesting use of accordion. I like it. The music video's good too I guess.
Hey wanna hear some Vektroid? Same person who did Floral Shoppe actually.
7/10
It's nice and psychedelic, though the sidechaining is a bit overbearing (which I suppose is the point).
8/10 Awesome sound, but the lyrics are really…out there.
7/10 not my type of music, but it was okay

9/10 80's classic, enjoyed listening in GTA Vice City
8/10
I can't complain it has a nice bass
10/10
One of Yes's best.
9/10 Great sound, but not something I'd listen to regularly due to its length
And now from the recently deceased…
8/10
Not my thing, but it's not a bad song at all
I never been a big fan of Michael Jackson but I can understand why this song made him famous, and who can blame him, the song and specially the music video are good (and it still hold up for this modern days), it's one of the many icons from the 80's and of the Pop culture in general. So because of that, thriller is a 8.3/10 for me.
Despite the actors only "spoke" a few lines during the entire film, and it's homage to the silent films of the 20's, I never felt "The Artist" as a pretentious movie that criticizes Hollywood's modern film industry. I like the story. Corny? yes, but it that vintage Hollywood corniness. And so the soundtrack, it's not perfect neither the best, but has some charm on it.
I'm not sure I can really give this a true rating, but I will say that I like this piece overall. I'm not sure about some of the duplets, though; they clash a bit against the swing rhythm*. But I do really like the darkening that takes place at the end of the song.
*Of course, that may be the entire point; I don't know.
For the song I'll give it a 7.7/10 but for the lyrics:
And if another woman driver
Gets machine-gunned from her seat
They'll send some joker with a brownie
And you'll see it all complete
Is a 9/10.
We didn't deserve you Zappa, you magnificent and witty bastard!
And now this shit will change your life:
9/10, the instrumentation blends together nicely and I like the escalation in volume scattered throughout.
6.5/10
Probably just not my style; I'm not really all too enamored with that whole electro-goth style. I will, however, give her kudos for her compositional skills.
7/10, seems like a song that'd be pretty fitting for a dramedy movie soundtrack.

6.7/10 Digging the instrumental, vocals are good too. The ending was pretty abrupt though.
7/10 Nice retro sound to it, though not really something I could always jam to. Also that one part in the middle sorta kills the vibe.
5.6/10
Too gloomy for me
8/10, funky stuff.
Deliciously 1980's
7/10
8/10, I certainly wouldn't skip the song if it was the theme song in an anime. Actually speaking of…
(yeah guess what I just recently started watching)
mmmmm a 7.6/10
The vocals were unsettling for me :/
4/10
I found it rather dull. I can't even say I'd like it as homework music.
Oh huh it's that alien from that Eiffel 65 "I'm Blue" music video. Guess the record label the group is signed to kept using the character for other projects.
7.5/10, I like I'm Blue more, but I've still got a soft spot for this type of eurobeat music. Reminds me of my pre-teen years, and the time in my life when I was big into Dance Dance Revolution.
Meanwhile I'm still on a "Japanese electronic metal" kick so here's a song from Blood Stain Child, another electronic metal band from Japan:
[If the lyrics from the female vocalist sound a bit "funny," it's because the lyrics are in English but she's got a pretty noticeable accent. They actually used to have a different female vocalist who was Greek and her English was noticeably less accented, but she left the band due to feeling overworked.]
8 / 10
I've only heard their Epsilon album so far, which I really liked. That song sounds good as well, definitely need to check out the rest of their discography.
Guess I'll post a metal song as well. This one's a melodic death metal / metalcore song, with one of the 'prettiest' sounding guitar solos I know:
7/10 Melodeath's not really my thing but this one's alright
8/10
Not bad
This would not be something I'd enjoy listening -- except when getting back from work -- due to the guitars being a bit too marshmallowy for my tastes. However, I recognize the melody is good and the chorus is an earworm. For this: 7.5/10!

Now: Mes, by Mexican musician Murcof in 2002.
This is what I've been listening to recently. People who watched Spanish television between 2003 and 2006 might recognize this tune because of TVE2.
6.5/10 don't really care too much for ambient stuff
