I would have never touched this kind of music when I was younger, but now I find myself switching to it on my ipod with increasing regularity. I find it helps me relax and concentrate, so it's great for just crashing out on the couch or studying for school.

I wonder if maybe getting older and having more to deal with in life is causing me to see music as a means of escape, and that I'm starting to acquire a taste more uplifting music than just my typical Rock and Metal grooves (I still carry a torch for Alt-Rock, though).

I already love all kinds of electronic music ('90s Trance FTW), so maybe the transition to something like New Age isn't really that much of a surprise, considering how much of it is produced in the same vein that other genres like trance or chillwave are.

Here's an album playlist from a Jazz quartet called "Fourplay".

Here's an album playlist from New Age music group "Merlin's Magic".

And here's an album of music from The Weather Channel.

Enya, Kitaro, and Steven Halpern are other musicians I highly recommend.

Yeah I know that feel OP.
Back on high school I used to be a "Le Wrong Generation kid" who mostly listened classic rock and heavy metal and I had a disdain for modern pop/regional music. And while I still like to listen to those awesome solos and guitar riffs, is just not same anymore.

Nowadays I listen more classical/jazz and I can understand why those music genres weren't designed to my 15-years-old self.

Anyways here some music that OP requested:
