It's pretty much cliché at this the year, but I might as well rant about this year's music since I post this thread annually anyways. This year contained waaay too much crap, containing mostly of snooze fests, repetitiveness, and smut. What was surprising was that the #1 song was one I didn't expect. That said, I barely managed to pick out a Top 10 favorite out of this list (without including songs from last year's list).

I find it very amusing that 21 Pilots took 3 spots, all my keks (tbh Blurryface was a good album fight me on that)

I honestly think this was a pretty decent year, but then again I've only scarcely been listening to the radio lately I also have normie radio taste but I don't care I'm not a music snob The only ones in the top list that I couldn't absolutely stand was 10. I never even heard In the Night.

Also:
• Ophelia should have gotten more attention I love that song
• inb4 "muh superior music tastes mainstream music is shit"

Way too much of a drag for pop music this year. Not enough standout tracks this year that were good, but plenty of standout tracks that blow chunks.

Lukas Graham – 7 Years <-- Worst of the bunch [Whiny and obnoxious garbage]
Twenty One Pilots – Heathens [Sums up most of Suicide Squad soundtrack for me: bland, tasteless, edgy tunes for teens]
Rihanna – Work (feat. Drake) [aka Rihanna on narcotics]
Kiiara – Gold [Learn to vocal chop properly]
Shawn Mendes – Treat You Better [Girls actually fall and fond for this guy and his tunes?]
