System of a Down has just released two new songs for the first time in 15 years in support of Artsakh

The iconic alternative metal band of the late 90s and early 00s has come together once again for the first time in a decade and a half, and this time it's in support of Artsakh, a republic that is a part of the the ancestral homeland of all members of the band, Armenia. Namely Artsakh is facing a serious conflict with both Turkey and Azerbaijan and it looks like the leaders of those two nations are hoping that with the world distracted by things like the Covid-19 pandemic and the American elections that no one would notice, so SOAD have taken it upon themselves to bring the conflict to light through what their best known for: their music. First we have "Protect the Land," a song made in tribute to the soldiers and citizens of Artsakh who are fighting to keep the population safe:

And next we have "Genocidal Humanoidz," a song about fighting the corrupt leaders of Turkey and Azerbaijan who are invading the Armenia territory of Artsakh:
