Help Finding A Song

There's a song I saw on MTV years ago and I have not been able to find out what it is, which is starting to get on my nerves.

It was a funky sort of dance song and the music video had silhouettes of mobsters getting machine gunned by tommy guns.to the beat of the music.

The only lyrics I remember were that it had what sounded like multiple women singing in a high pitch for the chorus and It sounded a bit like.

"Come on, get down on it, all praise to the lord above"

and the song kind of sounded like:

"Pit to a do dado do do, dah dah rah dah dah dah"

I also vaguely remember the title being about money or having "For the Love of" in the title.

It was one of those songs titles that was bracketed (like this).

Anyone have any idea what this might be, or have I just been imagining things for years?

It's got to be 12-14 years ago now, I think.

I wasn't in 6th form or Uni when I heard it, so it's got to be around 2008ish.

From what I can remember, the video had a very Frankie Goes to Hollywood vide about it, so it could be early 90's-late 80's perhaps?

Sorry if I'm being vague, but the only thing I remember clearly is the singing in the chorus.
