Sometimes I can edit my posts without problem but sometimes I can't even though it's been more than 30 minutes. Is this a bug or something?

I've had this happen multiple times on the forums when I try to edit a post that is more than 30 minutes old and it won't let me.

I think you're misunderstanding the concept. The 30-minute function was added so that users are unable to edit or delete their posts 30 minutes after they have been made. This is on purpose; it isn't a bug at all.
You are however allowed to edit and/or delete your post before the 30-minute mark has passed.

Talk to mod if you need to edit something important, but if its somehing stupid, don't bother.
