You can't take sides in Chris's situation. If you side with the trolls, then you look like a sociopath that enjoys making Chris suffer. If you side with Chris, then you're only enabling his dependent and egotistical tendencies.
The only side you should be on is on the other side of the glass watching the whole spectacle unfold.

I really cannot see him living much longer in this state. I can't really feel that sorry for him after some of the stuff he's done though.
