I have always found it wierd that videos don't have to have tags. It cant get pretty annoying when searching for a specific video, due to the fact that users don't have to tag videos. I suggest also requiring videos to have tags, which would make it easier to find the videos.

To add onto your point, earning the Scrapbooker title (or any one of those new-fangled media titles, I haven't bothered to learn the new title system yet) should give users the ability to tag vids. Although almost nobody uses the video section, it would give the few users that do an extra way to help out.
This site can handle and feature webm formats as well. It would useful for scrapbookers to tag and source such medias.
And here is kinda different issue, just want to bring it forward: why do we still categorise them as videos? There are soundcloud, webm embeds (i wonder if people are even aware of that) on that section. Can we rename it to something different? Like we can call it "medias" or "embeds".

Yeah, the gallery doesn't just have videos anymore. With the names, I think embeds is a better name due to images also being "media" and the media moderator title.
