Discuss Animal Crossing here.

I got New Leaf the other day, and I have to say I'm loving it apart from the atrocious multiplayer. I swear, and I know I'm not the only one getting this, but If I get one more error code 18 512…. And it's a problem with the game, I know this because so many other people are getting it. Dunno how to fix it.

i don't have any MP problems, but i can't get a perfect town. i've looked all over the internet and my town does comply with all the perfect-town-criteria i find (75+ flowers, 120+ fruit trees, 10+ public projects, no waste, nothing lying around, no weeds).
is it possible that i need all shops in the shopping district and nook&nook's shop in its final stage?
funny thing is, i already had exactly one jacob's ladder flower growing >.>

If you've had the Jacob's Ladder, it's already a perfect town. I think you need to talk to Isabelle, and she'll give you the golden watering can.

On another topic, I'm trying to kick an uchi, normal and lazy villager out of town, to replace them with Bob and Francine/Tiffany. But yesterday, Marshal (my favorite) said he was thinking of moving. Naturally, I stopped him, but part of me makes me think the game is designed so that your most beloved villagers think of moving before others. That's how I lost Bob and Queenie :(

The game requires the town to stay perfect for 15 days before you get the Golden Watering Can.

Also, I miss my bby Chevre. ;_; She was cool.

I honestly don't see a Wii U version coming in at least 2 years. Animal Crossing is a game that requires a full year to "experience" all events. I also think Animal Crossing is better in handhelds, because I can take it on trips, and play it anywhere; but that's me, who sometimes doesn't find time to play it.

I see your point. With Super Smash Bros. for Wii U coming people would not pay enough attention to a new Animal Crossing.
Anyway, Nintendo is famous for giving news faaar before the actual realase, just to keep our mind focused on them even when we don't play. So, if Animal Crossing for Wii U is coming in two years, news will start to leak in less than a year.
