So Winter sales just started on steam, what do you guys plan on picking up?

Right now I plan on getting Undertale, Infinifactory, Dark Souls 2 DLC, Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni, and possibly Soma.

Also, I think valve fucked up because apparently they'll pay you $0.28 if you download Total Annihilation.

Right now I plan to buy Amnesia and Painkiller: Hell & Damnation.

As for Undertale, Soma, Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and Worms World Party, they'll get their chance in the following days.

Kinda disappointed to be honest. Sure, they are good prices for the games, but I know many of them on my list were a lot cheaper in sales past. Probably gonna go ahead and get Mad Max since it's still newish (Spetember 2015), good reviews (91%) and 66% off.

Probably gonna get Spore complete as well, since I lost my physical disks for those a while ago.

Time to buy random cheap games, again. Oh yeah, Undertale too.

'Tis the season to be Gaben!

I already bought a lot of stuff during the Exploration Sale so there's not TOO much I wanted to get right now, but I still picked up Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin and Turok. Oh and Bubsy, because I had an extra $4 to blow on an ironic impulse buy. (in all honestly it's not all that bad so far, though yes the way momentum works is weird)

Just bought Garry's Mod for an amazing $2.49 :D

Any recommendations? (nothing resource demanding please as I don't have a gaming computer)

I got Undertale, Half Life Source and Skullgirls. Thinkin' about getting some other games like Sonic Generations, FF7, and Witcher 2. Hell, I'd probably get more if I was more of a PC gamer.

What I managed to squeeze out of $20:

Alice: Madness Returns
Guacamelee: Super Turbo Championship Edition
Jet Set Radio
Strong Bad's Cool Game 4 Attractive People
Super Meat Boy
Transistor

All in all I think I did breddy good.

My haul:
Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast
Cthulhu Saves the World/Breath of Death VII
Penny Arcade's On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness 3 & 4
The Orange Box
Guacamelee!
Battlefront II
3D Realms Anthology (32 games!)
Shadow Warrior
Max Payne trilogy
Brothers-A Tale of Two Sons

And for gifts I gave:
Garfield Kart
South Park: The Stick of Truth

Haul stuff I guess:

  • Aperture Tag
  • Apotheon
  • Spore compete
  • Five Nights at Freddy's 1-4
  • Gem Craft
  • Goat Simulator
  • King's Quest
  • Never Alone
  • Transformers War/Fall Cybertron (thanks Muffin)
  • Undertale

I decided not pick up Mad Max for now. While it is a good deal if I was jumping to play Mad Max I probably wouldn't get to it for a while, so I'll wait and maybe pick it up if it goes for less on another sale eventually.

Ah damn it, I just learned that the Umihara Kawase games got delisted a few days ago because the publisher has gone under. While part of me hopes someone else will just pick up the rights and put the games back on Steam, I'm now pissed at myself I didn't buy them when I had the chance. I think it's because during the Exploration Sale in November it was either I get Dying Light or the Umihara trilogy, and I got Dying Light because I wanted to get the pricier item first. If I had just had a spare $20 of "spend on whatever" money I would have gotten Umihara during this last sale, but I spent the last of that on Turok.

Yeah to be fair it's not like I could have known they were gonna be delisted by the end of 2015, but I'm still pissed at myself that I didn't just buy them when I had the chance.

So far, I've bought Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance and Total War: Shogun 2. I have $24.08 and less than 24 hours left. If anyone has any suggestions, make 'em now pls.

UPDATE: Make that $21.26.
