Funny enough this isn't the first time this has happened. Apparently this is mainly gonna focus on indies and third party games so I think aside from Spider-Man 2 I wouldn't go in expecting much first party stuff.

Nintendo and Sony directs on the same day? The 14th is gonna explode!
…So, anybody watch the State of Play? If so, anything to write home about?
Only notable things IMO are the confirmation the RE4 remake is finally getting Separate Ways next week on the 21 (I cant find any information on if it's a free update or if it's paid DLC though, though I do know Ada and Wesker will be new characters in Mercenaries as well), and FF7: Rebirth is confirmed for February 29, 2024.
Interesting to note that some fine print during the FF7: Rebirth trailer is it clarified it'll only be PS5 exclusive until May, so sounds like a PC port will come much sooner, and people are already speculating Xbox ports of FF7 Remake, Rebirth, and FF16 will be confirmed by May or June next year as it appears Square is NOT happy with the Sony exclusivity and might no longer be going that route going forward (sales of FF16 weren't as high as they hoped despite all the marketing Sony did for them, and they apparently lost billions in revenue following its release).
The fact the State of Play started with a couple minutes of gameplay showing off Bennett Foddy's new game "Baby Steps" makes me wonder who at Sony lost a bet to Foddy. Like did Foddy challenge a Sony exec to speedrun Getting Over It and they lost?
