A very pleasant surprise, it's cool to see Valve giving the game a proper update to modernize what needed it (like the HUD is no longer tiny on modern monitors) while also adding in some nice extras (like bringing back the classic menu and including the Uplink demo).
Next year is Half Life 2's 20th anniversary, so now I'm curious to see if they are planning a nice update for HL2 and the episodes (a while back it was leaked that the dude who did HL2 Update is apparently working on a "Remastered Collection" so it's possible Valve could have turned this fan work into an official Valve sanctioned product).
