Sound volume changes when I go on Google

This problem has been going for a while now, but now I'm sick and tired of it! It only happens when I go on Google.com in Google Chrome. The volume seems to lower and lose quality. The volume bar doesn't change though. It doesn't happen in Firefox, which has been my "solution". Does any of you guys know what's going on? I'm running Windows 8.1 if that matters.
