"Enemy AC-130 Above" refers to the popular multiplayer game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
In the multi-player mode, if a player reaches an eleven killstreak they can receive an AC-130 Spectre Gunship. An AC-130(also known as Angel of Death, because of the way its missile rerouting flares spread) is a large gunship firing large missiles, small missiles, and explosive machine gun ammo. An AC-130 can be very intimidating because it has the ability to kill everyone on the map that is outside in a matter of seconds. If an opposing team calls in an AC-130, the team is notified. All teams exclaim the warning with fear, but none as well as the Spetsnaz(shown above).
"Enemy AC-130 Above" is used to express bad occurrences for comical purposes, and an AC-130 Gunship is the subject of many demotivational posters.
Although the meme started in Modern Warfare 2, it has largely spread to real life, spawning videos of AC-130 strikes and demotivational posters.
