Anthony "Spice" Adams is an American television personality, comedian and former professional football player. Online, numerous clips of himself laughing in his distinctive staccato fashion have been used as reaction videos.

Online History

Near the end of this NFL career, Anthony "Spice" Adams joined Twitter, after a friend "dared" him to join. Adams told Forbes,[1] "It started like a dare. It was Chris Harris and Earl Bennett. They were like the social media gurus [on the team]. I didn’t even want to get on Twitter, and they were the ones who were like, ‘You need to get on Twitter.’ I was like, ‘This is stupid.’"

On April 13th, 2009, Adams tweeted[2] his first tweet (shown below). He wrote, "Just got on the Twitt-doggy-dog, let me know how to use this thing!!"


On July 12th, 2012, he posted a comedy sketch on YouTube. The video, entitled "Stuff NFL Free Agents Say", received more than 712,000 views in seven years (shown below, left).

The following year, Adams announced his retirement from the NFL on YouTube. The video received more than 1 million views in six years (shown below, right).

On February 7th, 2013, DeadSpin[3] featured a series of images of Adams parodying photographs of former baseball player Sammy Sosa's Pinterest account (images below).

Spice Adams' Laugh, also known as Spice Laugh and Uh Ha Ha refers to a series of reaction videos of Adams forcing laughter. Among the most popular uses of Adams' image online are gifs and reaction videos of Adams' laugh. Known as the "Spice Laugh" or "Uh Ha Ha," these videos and images are used to express either sarcastic or even sensual laughter. On May 24th, YouTuber TopSet published a compilation of some of his most popular laughs (shown below).
