"Bitch. How Dare You Still Live?" refers to a memorable quote said by character Richard in 2010 Wakaliwood action-comedy film Who Killed Captain Alex? Online, the image has gained popularity as a reaction, often used in reference to undesirable persistence.
Origin
In 2010, action-comedy film Who Killed Captain Alex? was released in Uganda.[1] In one scene of the film, character Richard, portrayed by Sserunya Ernest, points a handgun at a person holding two women hostage, asking him how dares he still live.

On June 16th, 2017, an anonymous 4chan user made the earliest known post using the image as a reaction in /tv/ board (shown below, left),[2] with the image gaining popularity among 4chan users in the following months[3][4] and also spreading to Twitter.[5]
On April 20th, 2018, an unknown Redditor posted the first known meme based on the image to /r/memes subreddit, with the post receiving over 30 upvotes (shown below, left).[6] On May 2nd, 2019, Redditor MeMeMachina052 posted meme based on the image which gained over 1,600 upvotes (shown below, right).[7]
The format saw a limited spread on the platform in the following year. In August 2019, the format saw a significant surge in popularity in several meme subreddits, including /r/dankmemes and /r/memes.
