About

A Boneless TikTok is a type of TikTok video where a random clip taken from a popular viral video, video game, often a Lego video game, or other piece of media is stretched out and edited to have its audio replaced with a song, then uploaded without any captions and with minimal or no tagging, giving it a specific viewing experience that some describe as peaceful and nostalgic. The trend began as early as October 2025 and was popularized in late June through early July 2026. Some versions of the trend use the hashtag "#bonelesstiktok."

Origin

One of the earliest known videos to fit the boneless TikTok genre was posted by TikToker[1] @orapac on October 15th, 2025. The video takes footage of some Minions and sets it to an ambient song. The video gained over 1.7 million views in nine months.
