The word "but" was a word, used in YouTube remixes and memes, most notably, "We are number one but………." Which is a flagship meme. in just a few years however, the Bag Raiders hit Shooting Stars and the Smash Mouth hit All Star, even as far as meme covers, remixes.
Origin

Spread
In 2016, a Maltese YouTuber, grandayy uploaded "We are number one but memes" in each videos, then was followed by more YouTubers about 11 months ago, the other memes, including "Shooting Stars but…….", and "All Star but………"
Even as far as Replacement remixes called "but every time" or "but everytime" which is a meme, YouTube user "Talking Nonsense", uploading his first video, entitled "PPAP but every time they say pen it gets bass boosted". See below
Since 2007, the Filipino-American cartoon "The Nutshack" used in video called "The Nutshack but……." .
