About
Corny On the Bob refers to a series of memes and video edits of TikToker Patty Miller (@pattyzapfemiller) calling corn and corn on the cob "corny on the bob" while showing off what she's eating for her meals.
Videos of Patty calling corn on the cob "corny on the bob," and calling corn off the cob "corny on the bob off the bob," date back as early as May 2025. Clips of her using the term were popularized as the subject of memes and edits in June and July 2026, including edits that attach an image of SpongeBob SquarePants as a fish with corn on his head as a representation of "corny on the bob."
As the meme evolved, people began using the image of SpongeBob and the corn in other memes referencing the original videos. Other memes point out the way she says "green onions" in a way that sounds like "green engines."
Origin
TikToker Patty Miller is known for videos where she shows off what she's eating. She often pronounces some of the food items in peculiar ways. One of the earliest examples of Patty saying, "Corny on the bob," comes from a video posted to her TikTok[1] page, @pattyzapfemiller, on May 4th, 2025, where she shows off her dinner of BBQ ribs. In the video, she says she is eating "corny on the bob" and shows some corn on her plate. The video gained over 500,000 views in a year.

In June 2026, TikTokers began making video edits pointing out Patty's use of the term "corny on the bob."
On June 8th, 2026, TikToker[2] @jayden2coolyo posted a meme that edits an image of SpongeBob shaped like a fish with corn on his head pointing at her plate as she says "corny on the bob," garnering over 21 million views in a month.

On June 30th, TikToker[3] @thekyletime posted a video talking about the meme and predicting that "corny on the bob" will have a dramatic rise in virality in the latter half of 2026, gaining over 360,000 views in two weeks.

On July 14th, 2026, TikToker[4] @unabling posted an edit both pointing out her use of the term "corny on the bob off the bob" and the way she says "green onions" like "green engines," garnering over 1.8 million views in three days.
