Coronavirus Response Plan is an exploitable photoshop meme featuring a screen-captured image of Dr. Deborah Birx holding a poster board containing a flow chart titled "Coronavirus Testing" during a press conference held by the Trump administration in mid-March 2020.

Origin

On March 13th, 2020, the White House held a press conference in which it declared the coronavirus outbreak a national emergency.^[2] During the press conference, Ambassador Deborah Birx held up a flow chart outlining plans for "drive-by" coronavirus testing (shown below).

Spread

On March 13th, 2020, the @TheDailyShow^[1] Twitter feed posted a photoshopped version of the image with the words "We're Fucked" superimposed on the poster board (shown below).

The same day, the template was posted to /r/MemeEconomy^[3] by user ThisIsAUser9001 (shown below, left). Twitter user @mptart^[4] posted an edit with the words "You're on your own" on the poster, gaining over 850 retweets and 3,000 likes (shown below, right).

Other examples include a post by Twitter user @colbydroscher,^[5] who posted the meme with the poster reading "corporations won't save you" (shown below, left), and a post by Imgur^[6] user CrustyPineapple, who posted it reading "stop touching your face" (shown below, right).
