Dawko "I Had Sex" is a series of memes and a reaction image based on a Photoshop of one of YouTuber Dawko's video thumbnails in which he is wielding lightning, and the title has been altered to read, "I HAD SEX!" The edit garnered viral spread online throughout 2025 on sites like Reddit and X / Twitter and is sometimes used as a reaction to posts where someone references having sex.

Origin

On July 28th, 2024, YouTuber^[1] Dawko posted a video titled, "BECOMING A SUPERHERO IN PROJECT DEMIGOD…," garnering over 67,000 views in a year. In the thumbnail, Dawko is edited to be wielding lightning in one hand and fire in another.

That same day, X^[2] user @Matejk0o posted an edit of the thumbnail, in response to X user @katieeock_ posting the edit of Dawko with the lightning, altering the title to read, "I HAD SEX!!!," garnering over 30,000 likes in a year.

Spread

On January 26th, 2025, Redditor Aggravating_Print294 reposted the edit to the /r/Dawko^[3] subreddit, garnering over 1,200 upvotes in 9 months.

On May 1st, the meme was posted to the /r/BossFights^[4] subreddit, titled "Dawko, the sex haver," garnering over 2,300 upvotes in six months.

On September 26th, 2025, X^[5] user @Razzbowski posted the meme in response to Dawko writing, "omfg guys I'm pregnant :(," garnering over 7,900 likes in just over a month.

On September 27th, Instagram^[6] user fnaf.jokes reposted the post, garnering over 6,600 likes in a month.

On November 2nd, X^[7] user @HeroOfO00, a parody Adventure Time account that posts as the protagonist Finn, posted a version of the meme reading, "I had platonic sex" in response to one of their previous posts reading, "I’m gonna go see huntress guys brb," garnering over 5,300 likes in a day.
