On one hand, it appears that both sides seem to have calmed down for now. Iran has stated their attack is concluded and will only make further moves as a retaliation for subsequent events. However, even with the U.S. telling Israel to show restraint, it remains to be seen if they will. This was the first time Iran has directly launched an attack at Israel, even if it proved ultimately ineffective at causing damage. That said, Israel got what it wanted by attacking the consulate in Damascus and by repelling the Iranian attack, and Iran can say it launched an attack that took Israel and 4 allied nations to repel. Perfect time for both sides to deescalate for now, and they all know it.

On the other hand, if any further escalation occurs, I would not be terribly surprised if it came from an F-35 airstrike on Iran's nuclear facilities since they've now proven their willingness to launch an attack at Israel directly. It wouldn't be the first time they've struck a supposed nuclear facility outside their borders.. That's a really big if, though, and I'm far more certain of the first option.
